These Terms of Use apply to DoomLift, operated by Softotic, including the Android application with package name com.softotic.doomlift. By using DoomLift, you agree to these terms.
Purpose of DoomLift
DoomLift helps users reduce distracting app usage by blocking selected apps and allowing access after completing configured activities or waiting through breaks. DoomLift is a productivity and wellness tool, not a medical, fitness, or emergency service.
Health and Safety
You are responsible for choosing activities that are safe for your body and environment. Do not perform exercises if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Consult a qualified professional before starting physical activities if you have health concerns.
Permissions
DoomLift may request accessibility, usage access, camera, activity recognition, and motion permissions to provide app blocking and challenge verification. You can disable permissions from Android settings, but some features may stop working.
Camera-Based Activity Detection
Camera-based pose detection, including pushups and squats, may not always be perfectly accurate. Lighting, phone movement, body visibility, and camera angle can affect detection. You agree not to rely on DoomLift for precise exercise measurement or professional fitness tracking.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse DoomLift, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer the app where prohibited by law, or use it in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
No Guarantee
DoomLift is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that blocking will work on every device, Android version, manufacturer skin, or third-party app. System settings, battery restrictions, and permissions may affect behavior.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Softotic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of DoomLift.
Changes
We may update these Terms as DoomLift changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
